I am juggling right now, and am really trying not to drop any of my "balls." Ashley's senior awards ceremonies(there are two left) and Alison's gymnastics,(now every day) are conflicting with each other. I have called upon my mom, plus traded drives with my car pool partner; now that she doesn't drive out at the same time it becomes even trickier. Then there are the meetings at school that MAY run late, causing the need for a back up driver. After dropping Alison off at gym today, I ran several errands to help Ashley out with her senior presentation board. I am hoping she will be able to finish it and have it look the way she WANTS. She has her senior speech written, but it needs to go on the notecards. She has her art projects to finish. She needs to eventually(last priority) send out her graduation announcements. Can there be ANYTHING else? (sarcasm) Oh,yeah, I have two children! Alison is working on a project about Zambia, assigned by the "crazy" social studies teacher. She decides on these complicated assignments very spur of the moment, doesn't give the students many specifics about what is expected, and all of this causes frustration(me) and tears.(Alison) Gymnastics seems to be going well(she caught four shaposhes and vault was better), but Nationals are less than one month away. Why aren't they starting to work on routines? I'm not even sure Alison can get all the way through her bar routine-it's full of handstands, straddleback, blind, giant, front giant--none of this means anything to most of us, but take my word for it, it's HARD! Since I'm not a coach, I will keep my mouth shut and just worry myself silly in BlogWorld. I need to get a grip; everything will get done, it will all be fine, right? I will take some deep breaths and go put away the groceries, fold the laundry, and nag Alison to finish her homework...

You need eight more hands and ten more "husbands" to get all that done. My mom isn't working this summer and it's still going to be tough getting Sydney to all her little activities. With two grown-up girls and two grown-up schedules, plus your own...I don't know how in the world you do it. But you will!! And I will take copious notes so one day I too can be everywhere at once.

Stress ... can any of us imagine life without it? "Simplify" they say, and then you see your talented daughters reaching goals you could only dream when they were babies ... and you press on.
So, go ahead and rant, and worry yourself sick here in blog world ... we understand.
