Yes, it really is on my car; I am hoping that it will back people off our tail as I try to teach Alison to drive at the speed limit and correctly. (if I remember how!) I honestly did not realize how many roads around here have big curves, steep hills, no shoulder, drop offs into gravel shoulders, busy traffic, cars parked close to the road, etc...When my 15 year old was behind the wheel, I was agonizingly aware of all of these things. For a complete beginner, she did well--staying off the shoulder (when there is one) is a major problem; she is rightfully afraid to get too close to the middle with cars coming in the opposite direction. She was very excited to drive--her mother much less so. As for the furnace story, the plot thickens. I will know more after Richard comes by again. Some of you can already figure out what is going on, can't you?
