Do you know that when you spell check with Typepad, it doesn't recognize the word BLOGGER? It suggests logger as a substitute. I think that's pretty silly for a weblog service, don't you?I use the spell check very rarely because I have always prided myself on my spelling. Unlike art, it is one of my gifts. I have too much to post, or too little, so I am putting up this survey I got from VJ; I liked it very much, but am not tagging anyone. If you are in the mood, let us learn a bit more about you!
1. What is your favorite all-time movie? 1.My favorite all-time movie would be Remember the Titans, not just because of the film, but because I love the music. I also enjoy many classic foreign films such as My Father’s Glory, My Mother’s Castle, Jean de Florette, Manon des Sources, Au revoir, les Enfants, etc... 2.There’s no place like home, as Dorothy said. If I am not home, I would love to be on the Oregon beaches, Hawaii, Anderson Island--someplace with a beach. 3. No, my home business is parenting. 4. Other people are not perfect and neither am I. Acceptance of foibles in human nature. 5. They are not afraid to be themselves and express who they are. (this is a double-edged sword, witness Ashley’s dreadlocks!) 6. My name, birth and death dates. Everyone who knew me would already be aware of the kind of person I am, people who don’t know me won’t care anyway. Extra question--What do I think my children will grow up to be? Ashley--artist, literary buff, writer extraordinaire. I think she’ll end up working for someplace like Ten Thousand Villages. She wants to help the world. I used to think I knew what she would want to do, but as she gets older, I get more confused. Alison--athlete, charmer--maybe a teacher and gymnastics coach. She gets along well with children, so that might work for her.
