I adore orange flowers, and salmon colored nail polish. However, this house stopped me in my tracks; if you like this color home, I apologize, but why would anyone want THIS MUCH orange? It's a big place too...
The above monstrosity house was on my way to drop off some homemade Nanaimo bars at a friend's; he just celebrated his birthday and evinced a desire for them on Facebook. I deserve an award for keeping the cat away from their preparation; she loves butter and heavy cream, likes coconut, and is extremely interested in the graham cracker crumbs. Oh, and she jumps onto the counter like a rocket! I'm quite relieved to be feeling better today although every time my stomach twinges, I get nervous. This morning I was concerned, then I realized that I'd had two extra cups of coffee! Oops. Although I wasn't miserable yesterday, I was uncomfortable. Thank you all for your concern and good wishes! Incidentally, I do have a carbon monoxide detector, and the proverbial canary in the coal mine. (Mari)
Don't worry, she's always this sleepy. ;)
In exchange for the Nanaimo bars, my friend gave me some of his peanut butter whisky to try. Nope, not a fan. Now my kitchen drain smells like peanut butter.
In the area of self-beautification, I've let my bushy eyebrows return (wish I'd never had them waxed), but one eyebrow is bigger than the other; the smaller one also had a bald patch where a line of hair hadn't grown back. So, I got busy with tweezers which is painfully UNFUN. They are so much better now though! Next I'm trying a home manicure kit, and some polish strips that I ordered from my sister-in-law's nail party. I am uncoordinated and awkward, thus I don't have high hopes for this endeavor. At least I have the Nanaimo bars as consolation! :)
