Unfortunately, my date to the Pacific Southern restaurant was postponed until next Thursday; when/if I do make it, I will (as some of you predicted) get an egg dish. I always do! I adore omelets, frittatas and scrambles whereas the idea of a stack of pancakes or biscuits and gravy leave me cold. I would order the Creole omelet, but it has peppers and cheese blend (sauce?); thus, I will probably go for the veggie omelet minus peppers or the 2-egg breakfast with bacon, red potatoes and no toast. In the meantime...
these, although not gourmet, looked rather intriguing. I'll have to pick around the peppers. Why, oh, why are they so popular?!
Speaking of (un)popular, this color would cause issues in my development due to our HOA. I think it can be seen from outer space! I joked on Facebook that now they just need action green (lime green) trim, and it could be a Seattle Seahawks house. Seriously though, I love this blue in clothing, but on a house? No way.
Also on my walk are lovely signs of spring.
I can't get enough of the flowering trees or the blue sky, gone for the next few days due to a rainy forecast. At least I managed to mow my front and back lawns! Don't mention the flower beds, OK?
Sadly, there was also this sign of bad driving along my route.
I loved this sweet photo of the brothers.
Cats are difficult to read, but Mari is giving me a look of affection as she "helps" me with my Wordle. Sorry I didn't do better, Mari! By the way, John is back from his San Diego road trip and recovering from all the driving and lack of sleep. As usual, he seems upbeat! How does he manage it? I would be very cranky and overwhelmed. This weekend I'll be seeing both daughters separately: YD for baby shopping tomorrow morning and later on pizza with her grandma, and OD and family on Sunday for tamales. In between those events, I'm hoping for some exercise, lots of reading (two library books to work on!) and time with John. There is still lots of yard work to fret over, but the weather won't be conducive to that, so I'll just have to find lazier things to do! ;)
Glad to hear John is back from his adventure. Sounds to me like you're eating well, even if for some odd reason you seem not to like peppers. Better watch out for that pizza and those tamales. They may have peppers a-hiding! :D Oh, and Mari, of course, is beautiful, as always.

i have a cat on me . . . Oh no, she’s off. The ten minute cat is off. Sometimes, I don’t know why she comes. She was just here. We both got up. I came back; she came back.
Those boys are cute together. Enjoy the springing, We win’s there yet. It’s miserable today — sleety. Yuck.

Your tree lined street is very beautiful. After a cold Winter, flowering trees are so welcomed. Shopping for the new baby with A and your mother should be good fun. I suspect there is lots of preparation in the works including a lovely nursery in A's new home. John and his brother did well to drive the newly purchased car home without incident. The repairs they made worked well. I'm impressed. That is a very sweet photo of N and O. Mari looks very regal in the photo you posted. She definitely poses for a photo.

So happy John is home safely and you get to see him this weekend. Have a great time with your daughters and grandsons. Spring looks lovely where you live!

I have seen those just add egg things in the store but have never tried one. I have been disappointed with just about every breakfast type of convenience food I have ever tried. If it were me, I would just spend 10 minutes and dice up veggies to store in a plastic Tupperware container in the fridge and then use it as I scramble eggs in the morning. Let me know if those are any different.
There is a neon pink house that I drive by most days. I'm not sure why people do such things. For me, it isn't so much the color as the knowledge that the next coat of paint, especially a lighter neutral shade, will be a bear to put on. Not only will it require multiple coats to cover up that blue, but any overages where the blue paint actually got on the trim, will then really stand out leaving you with no option but to paint the trim as well.

I'll throw most any odds and ends from the fridge in my eggs - as long as a little cheese makes it in there too. My builder tried to get me to use that blue on the bathroom vanity. Oh no, my eyes can't take that brightness in the morning!

I actually like brightly colored houses and wish mine was something other than olive green although I admit I probably wouldn't go bright. Let us know how those breakfast thingies are. They might be handy for my husband in his camper.

That photo of the boys is so precious. And how lovely your flowering trees are. Still too early here, but I'm so ready to bask in their fabulosity when they do show up.

I don't like that color of blue at all and am saying a quiet blessing about living in a subdivision with a reasonable HOA. Hope you get to spend some time with John, he who is inexplicably upbeat.

I bought a couple of the Jimmy Dean breakfast meals and they were so so. Won't buy them again, but I will have to look for these Crack an egg ones. I too love breakfast anytime of the day. Mmm!
Your flowering trees along the roads are gorgeous. We are finally warming up and its melting and we can see bare ground again. Hallelujah! Will be awhile before we have anything poking up and flowering.
your little grandsons are so precious. Happy to hear John is back and you can catch up again Wendy
